Papa Tasty Kebab is in Paonsonby International Food court.  It is a Meddle Eastern Takeaway which offers a good selection of meat and vegetarian dishes.  The staffs are very helpful, nice and friendly.  When we asked to exclude the rice from one of the dishes, the chef, suggested to add more salad instead which I thought nice it was nice of him.  

The food we ordered were two Iranian kebab dishes.  We had lunch there on Thursday 5th of April 2012.

Kobideh Kebab with Salad $12.00

Kobibeh kebab is mincemeat on skewers.  Traditionally it is cooked on charcoal BBQ  and served with rice. In this case, the kebabs were well cooked, nice and juicy.  It tasted like the authentic Iranian kebab.  The salad was very fresh and was a good complement to the kebab.  I enjoyed the Hummus very much and the portions were generous.

Chicken Kebab with extra kobideh and rice $17.00

Chicken kebab is made of boneless chicken breast pieces marinated in lemon juice, onion, salt and saffron.   Chicken kebabs were cooked well and were very tasty.  The rice was fluffy and very nice combined with somack (a Middle Eastern spice which has a sour taste).  I truly enjoyed the BBQed tomato too.

Overall I like the food and the attitude of the staff and will go back there again (for sure).
